A results guarantee means we aren't paid for turning up, we're paid for the problem being solved. If the pests are still there after treatment, within the conditions and the period set out in the quote, we come back. That's what separates professional pest control from a one-off spray.
Pest control is rarely settled in a single visit, and nobody serious will tell you otherwise. Bed bug and cockroach eggs survive most treatments and hatch after the initial visit: that's why a second treatment is scheduled, timed precisely to the species' life cycle. For rodents, monitoring the bait stations over several weeks makes it possible to check that the population has genuinely been eliminated and not merely reduced. These follow-up visits are built into the quote, not added afterwards.
In all transparency, a guarantee has limits, and it's better to know them beforehand than after. It assumes the instructions the technician gave you have been followed — preparing the premises, ventilating, not cleaning the treated areas too soon, which would remove the product. It doesn't cover re-infestation from an outside source unrelated to our treatment: an infested, untreated flat next door, a gap in the building fabric or badly managed communal bins can all bring the problem back. In those cases, we tell you the cause and what to do about it — often a treatment coordinated with the building manager.
